RenterMagnet is a professional marketplace. This Acceptable Use Policy defines what is not allowed on our platform. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.
Prohibited Activities
- Fraud — payment fraud, identity fraud, or any deceptive scheme.
- False Listings — properties you do not own or lack authority to market, listings with fabricated features, prices, availability, or photos, or bait-and-switch tactics.
- Copyright Violations — posting photos, floor plans, videos, or copy you do not have rights to use.
- Spam — unsolicited bulk messaging through leads, contact forms, or reviews.
- Misrepresentation — impersonating another person, business, or professional; misrepresenting credentials, licenses, or affiliations.
- Harassment — abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behavior toward renters, experts, staff, or other users.
- Illegal Activity — violations of fair housing, advertising, consumer protection, tax, or any other law.
- Fake Reviews — self-reviews, incentivized reviews, retaliation reviews, or reviews that misrepresent an experience.
Enforcement
We investigate reports and take action at our discretion, up to and including termination without refund and reporting to authorities where appropriate. To report a violation, email hello@rentermagnet.com with the subject "AUP Report."
