Community Guidelines

RenterMagnet connects renters, rental experts, and property managers. These Community Guidelines set expectations for respectful, accurate, and useful content across the platform.

Listings

• Represent properties accurately, including features, availability, pricing, fees, and pet policies.
• Use photos that reflect the actual property. Do not post stock images as unit photos without disclosure.
• Comply with fair housing laws and avoid discriminatory language.

Reviews

• Share honest, first-hand experiences.
• Do not post reviews for properties or experts you have not interacted with.
• No incentivized reviews, retaliation reviews, or reviews written by the reviewed party.

Rental Experts

• Represent your credentials, licensing, and service areas accurately.
• Respond to leads professionally and promptly.
• Do not misrepresent your affiliation with RenterMagnet.

Property Managers

• Communicate honestly with renters and experts.
• Honor pricing, specials, and availability posted on your listings.

Enforcement

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or our Acceptable Use Policy. Report issues to hello@rentermagnet.com.
